Olympic List #2: Simplicity

A man is rich in proportion to the number of things he can afford to let alone.

Simplicity
The Olympic list is slowly taking shape.  Here at the beginning of Lent I have decided to perform 40 push-ups per day (looking to get to one hundred) and to read more.  I have slated Henry David Thoreau's Walden for a re-read.  The quote that opens this post is one that I have repeated to myself over and over in my life, and now my wife is quite quick to repeat it to me when I speak of ipods and ipads.

Happy With Less
Less Space.  Less Stuff.  More Life.  To be happier with less would be one of the greatest accomplishments of my life.  I have a fantastic wife and a beautiful daughter.  I have a home.  I have insurance.  I already have more than I could ask for.  This is the reason for penning the Fattitude of Gratitude.  It's far too easy to get caught up in the race to have more.  More is not more.

I am pumped about the direction creating this list is taking me.  What's your Olympic list?
