In the spirit of full disclosure I need to include organization on my list. It case you haven't noticed, I am not perfect. After a treatment of life "simplification" my lack of organization is a serious road block to the goals I have laid out for myself. I want to be organized lightning and right now I am chaotic electricity. It's time to organize my thoughts, my finances, my junk drawer, my life.
The System
I have been all over the place looking into organizational tools, online calendars, hipster pda's, smartphones, etc. I haven't spent the time to give any one method a chance. Right now I am interested in taking small steps simply by writing things down and remembering to look at what I wrote in the first place. I have so many great plans and ideas all over the place that very few of them get fully developed.
Self Aware to Action
It's one thing to know a weakness and a completely different adventure to take the steps to become stronger. That what my Olympic List is all about. Writing it all down somehow makes it more real. Sharing also puts some pressure on myself to produce. I like to do well under pressure.
Focus
We become what we focus on. Period. If I were to work on this for years I am certain that I would still have another lifetime left toiling to fulfill it. Where might I end up if I never tried? What would put on your Olympic List? What's worth spending your entire life working on?
